It grew into something bigger: Catalunya’s first, and still most trusted, directory connecting the Indian community with Indian-run businesses and services across the region.
The name is the whole mission in one word. Catalunyaar is Catalunya plus yaar — Hindi for friend. We’re not a corporate directory. We’re the friend who already found the reliable gestoria, the barber who gets a fade right, and the restaurant that doesn’t need to ask how spicy is too spicy.
That one Facebook page has since grown into a thriving, active community across Facebook and WhatsApp groups — the kind where a question posted at midnight rarely goes unanswered by morning.
