We started the school not just to teach languages, but also with the idea of helping you to integrate into Barcelona, taking the language as its core.
Our teachers are the foundation of our school, responsible for delivering quality learning. At DIME our Spanish School in Barcelona teacher is an involved teacher: resourceful, energetic, responsible, and full of initiative and ideas.
The school is located in a dynamic and cosmopolitan district that is emblematic of Barcelona.
Laura and Jorge met each other while giving Spanish classes in 2007. They had many things in common: both had many years of experience in teaching, both had lived in different countries, and above all they both had the desire and the energy to start a school where they could make their own way and teach in their own style. A short time later, Cristina joined them, sharing the same vision and enthusiasm. Together, they ventured to create their own school. They called it Dime, a very short word but with a lot of meaning. Dime (“dee-may”) in Spanish means “tell me” or “talk to me”.
“We opened Dime in April 2007 and since then we have taught the way we like: with humour, sensitivity and professionalism.”
“Since then we have grown and we have established ourselves as a leading Spanish school in Barcelona. We collaborate with international schools and offer classes to companies, with organize both in-person and online courses. We not only teach adults but also children and teenagers.”
“We are proud of what we do and how we do it. We enjoy sharing our knowledge with our students, and we enjoy learning from them, too.”
