Güngur Arts

Güngur Arts is a classical Indian dance company specializing in Odissi, one of India’s major classical dance forms, with a Barcelona-area base established in 2015 (now operating from Badalona, by appointment). Over the years the company has trained more than 100 students and staged annual performances and recitals in recognized theaters across Spain and Europe, alongside workshops led by visiting international artists in Indian classical dance and music. Recent Barcelona-area productions include the Odissi show “Devārpan” and the “Odissi Diwas” celebration, reflecting an active, ongoing program of both instruction and performance rather than one-off events. Güngur Arts also runs a sister branch in Buenos Aires, giving it a rare cross-continental presence for this classical dance form.
