Din Tak Bhangra Barcelona

Din Tak was born in 2014 from a desire to bring Punjabi folk culture closer to the people of Barcelona through Bhangra classes and participation in cultural events. We want to share our passion for dance with our students and the public alike.

At our academy, we teach Bhangra with respect for its traditions and in keeping with the original spirit of this dance: a celebration of life. For us, Bhangra is above all a group dance, where teamwork and the connection created between dancers take center stage. We believe in progressive learning, where everyone finds their place and grows at their own pace.

A nomadic school in its early days, Din Tak has had its own academy since 2017. Our in Barcelona’s Sagrada Família neighborhood is a space for learning and having fun: you leave every class with an extra boost of energy and vitality.

Our performances, full of color and energy, transport you instantly to Punjab. If you’ve ever seen one of our shows, you’ll know how difficult it is not to start dancing along with us—even if you don’t know the first thing about Bhangra.
