Drishyam: The Conclusion is the third and final Hindi installment in the Drishyam franchise, closing out the cat-and-mouse story between Vijay Salgaonkar and the police that began with the 2013 Malayalam original and continued through 2015's Drishyam and 2022's Drishyam 2. It's directed by Abhishek Pathak, written by Abhishek Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh, and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Ajit Andhare and Alok Jain under Panorama Studios and Star Studio18.

Drishyam: The Conclusion releases worldwide in cinemas on 2 October 2026, timed to the Gandhi Jayanti holiday — a traditional big-release date for Hindi cinema. The CBFC cleared the film with a UA 16+ certificate and no cuts just days before release, on 28 September 2026. At the time of writing, no separate Spain-wide theatrical release through a mainstream distributor has been announced — the Barcelona screening below is a community promoter booking timed to the same release week, not a wide Spanish release.

As with previous promoter-booked screenings at this cinema, Drishyam: The Conclusion is not yet showing on Filmax's own official cartelera listing — that's consistent with how earlier community screenings here have worked, and isn't a red flag on its own, but check the official link above closer to the date to confirm. Subtitle availability has not been announced; we'll update this post once it is.

Why Watch This Movie
Drishyam has been one of the defining Hindi thriller franchises of the last decade, and this is being billed as its final chapter — with Ajay Devgn and Tabu reprising their roles opposite a new addition, Jaideep Ahlawat, as the investigating officer. For Barcelona's Indian diaspora who have followed Vijay Salgaonkar's story since the original, this is a rare chance to see the franchise close out on the big screen, in the same week as its home release, without waiting for a streaming date.
