Five-day programme
This is exactly what the flyer lists for each day. The flyer's own "Day 1" combines Maha Sasthi and Maha Saptami into a single date (17 October) with one evening time block, and both Day 3 and Day 4 reference Maha Nabami — we've transcribed it exactly as printed rather than guess at what that means. Day 4's evening block is printed on the flyer in a way that reads as "1800" — we've shown it as 18:00; worth double-checking this one with the organisers.

Two days after Bijoya Dashami, the association holds a Cultural Program at a different venue in Eixample: 6 PM, Friday 23 October 2026, at C. de Calàbria 66, Baixos, Eixample, Barcelona. The flyer doesn't describe the programme beyond that — treat it as a separate outing from the five days of puja above.

Bengali Cultural Association, Spain is inviting Barcelona's Bengali and wider Hindu community to celebrate Durga Puja 2026 from Maha Sasthi to Bijoya Dashami, close to Arc de Triomf, followed by a separate cultural evening the next week. Here's the shape of the five days, based on exactly what's printed on the flyer:
- Bodhon and Dhunuchi Nritya (the devotional dhunuchi dance) on the opening evening, 17 October
- Pushpanjali — a collective flower offering — on the morning of Maha Ashtami, 18 October
- Sandhi Pujo, the ritual marking the junction of Ashtami and Nabami, on the morning of 19 October
- Kanya Pujo on 20 October, followed by Aaroti and a musical evening
- Bishorjon (idol immersion) and Sindhur Khela close the celebration on Bijoya Dashami, 21 October
- Food stalls run every evening of the main puja, with Prasad distributed after the morning rituals
Venue
C. de Buenaventura Muñoz 6
Barcelona — the flyer notes this is near the Arc de Triomf metro station (L1). We haven't independently confirmed what kind of venue this is (community hall, hired space, or similar) or an exact walking time from the metro, so it's worth budgeting a little extra time, especially for the busier evening sessions.

Source & verification
Details on this page are transcribed from Bengali Cultural Association, Spain's own event flyer. Unlike some flyer-only listings, this organiser does have an independent web presence we could check: bcaspain.org describes Bengali Cultural Association of India in Spain as a registered non-profit active in Barcelona since 2022, and the WhatsApp number listed on their site (+34 693 005 986) matches the Siddharth contact number printed on the flyer — a reassuring cross-check, though we couldn't find the puja schedule itself published anywhere beyond the flyer. Catalunyaar is not the event organiser; please confirm time-sensitive details directly with the association. Last checked 1 October 2026.
