Garba under the brightest moon of the year
Navratri ends, the lamps are packed away, and then comes one last night that many Gujarati families wait for all year: Sharad Purnima, the full moon of the month of Ashwin. In 2026 it falls on Sunday 25 October, the very day of this Garba Night.
Back home it's the night of kheer left out under the moonlight, of Kojagari Lakshmi puja, and of one more round of garba before the season closes. It's also tied to the story of Krishna's Raas Lila on the autumn full moon. This year, Barcelona gets its own version: one more circle, one more round of dandiya, with the Trivedi family and the Catalunyaar community.
Clock change that morning: Spain moves its clocks back one hour in the early hours of Sunday 25 October. 16:00 means the new winter time, so double-check your phone and smartwatch before you set off.
The evening

Four hours of garba and dandiya, with DJ Tigerstyle on the decks. The flyer gives the start and finish times only, so come at 16:00 and dance until the last round at 20:00.

L2L3Paral·lel sits at the other end of Ronda de Sant Pau. Handy if you're coming on the green line.
