If you've searched for a Sai temple in Barcelona, this is one name you'll come across. Sai Hira Ram Vishwas Asthaan is a Sindhi Sai darbar on Carrer d'Entença, in the Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample, right at the corner with Gran Via. It's registered with Barcelona City Council under the association name Asociación Luz de Diamante Prometido.
In Sindhi tradition, Sai is a respectful title for a saint or spiritual master. So a "Sai darbar" like this one is centred on a Sindhi saint, Sai Hira Ram, and not on Shirdi Sai Baba. Worth knowing if you're specifically looking for a Shirdi Sai Baba mandir.

What happens at a Navratra Chownki?
A chownki (also written chowki) is a devotional gathering in honour of the Mother Goddess. Devotees sing bhajans and bhentan together, and the session usually closes with aarti. During Navratri many families attend a chownki every evening, one for each of the nine nights.
- Kanjak pooja honours young girls as forms of the Devi. They are welcomed, their feet are washed, and they're offered food and small gifts. Here it follows the Asthmi Chownki on Monday 19 October.
- Navmi is the ninth day of Navratri and Dussehra (Vijayadashami) celebrates the victory of good over evil. Here both are marked with one chownki on Tuesday 20 October.
