Bono Joven de vivienda de 250€ a month, requirements, how long it lasts and who can apply for rental subsidy
Pedro Sánchez has announced the creation of a new 250 euro per month voucher for young people to help them rent their homes. This agreement estimates that people between the ages of 18 and 35 with an annual income of less than 23,725 euros will be able to take advantage of it.
The aid will be valid for a maximum of two years, Likewise, Sánchez has announced that the most vulnerable families will be able to receive additional rental aid covering “up to 40% of the monthly rent“.
“We are talking about a fair economic recovery and this means facilitating access to housing, especially for those who are most vulnerable to precariousness, such as our young people”, Sánchez stressed at an event organised by UN-Habitat, which was attended by the Minister for Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez; the President of the Andalusian Regional Government, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, and the Mayor of Seville, Juan Espadas. In this sense, the President of the Government of Spain has advocated the need to bring the age of emancipation for young people forwards to bring it closer to the European average.o
