About the film
Part One doesn’t rush to war. It opens inside the palace halls of Ayodhya, following a young Prince Ram’s trials as disciple to sage Vishwamitra, builds toward Mithila’s legendary swayamvara — where Ram breaks Shiva’s own bow to win Sita’s hand — and closes on their marriage, just before the exile that will carry into Part Two, due for Diwali 2027.
