Coming Monday, 25/05/2020 will bring a new relief for everyone in Barcelona, including many shops and bars that will finally be able to open their doors, after being in Phase Zero for almost three weeks and being in phase 0.5 for a week, Barcelona, AMB will be in phase 1, which mean Bars can open to their 50% capacity and outdoor sitting capacity for up to 50% while maintaining 2 mts of social distancing with a maximum of 10 persons
Shopping centre shops: In Phase 1 Shops of Barcelona are allowed for the reopening of shops of less than 400 square metres that are inside shopping centres but have independent access to them.
Shops: All the shops which are less than 400 mts can now open and they don’t need an appointment as they needed in Phase 0 and Phase 0.5, however, they need to maintain up to 30% capacity and maintains all social security norms, and a preferential schedule for people over 65
Sales: After a week of debate on if Sales are allowed or not, the Government finally decided to authorize Sales(rebajas) throughout the country, regardless of the stage of each province.
Transportation: the whole family could already travel in the car during phase 0.5. The use of vehicles with up to nine seats has been allowed. Another measure that was originally planned for phase 1. However, it was not yet possible to travel to a second home.
Meetings of up to 10 people inside and outside the house, maintaining a safe distance of two meters.
Non-professional sport: in outdoor sports facilities without an audience, only for non-contact sports such as athletics or tennis. In sports centres, individual sports activities by appointment in sports centres that do not involve physical contact or use of changing rooms.
Gyms, Pools and Store bigger than 400 sqmts are still not permitted to open.
